The Wine & Theatre Private Experience

Looking for a different and complete day out for your team or clients? At Stanlake Park, we teamed up with the prestigious theatre The Mill at Sonning to offer a full experience that your guests will love.
Start your early afternoon visiting Stanlake Park in Twyford, one of the oldest vineyards in England that since 1979 has produced its award-winning wines using estate-grown grapes. Learn how wine is made, and enjoy an informative, fun and entertaining walk around our listed buildings with hundreds of years of history. All while you taste six different wines as you go, including white, rosé, red and sparkling wines.
Then take a short drive to the nearby Mill at Sonning Theatre where you will enjoy a delicious 2-course buffet dinner before sitting down in their air conditioned auditorium for a professional theatrical production. All set in a historical building which houses a 19th century water-wheel which is still in motion! If you still have time to spare after the show, relax in their beautiful waterside bar and enjoy an extra drink with the calming sound of the water wheel in the background.

- Wine Tour & Tasting experience duration: 90 min
- Dinner & Show duration: 4 hours min
- Minimum number of guests for the Wine Tour: 10 people. Max 30 people. Larger parties can also be accommodated, but we might need to be split the party into smaller groups for the Wine Tour.

Booking terms and conditions
To book, we require a 75% deposit one month in advance with the balance due 2 weeks before the event. Deposit is non-refundable but the customer will not be required to pay the remaining balance.
The customer may request an alternative date/time for the Group Booking, and both Stanlake Park and The Mill shall make reasonable efforts (subject to availability) to rearrange the Event or Tour Guest’s Booking but shall not provide any guarantee to this effect or incur any liability to the customer for its failure to do so; the customer shall be entitled to use the original deposit against that alternative date/time for the Group Booking.
