Stanlake Park wins 4 medals at regional Wine Competition

Stanlake Park wins medals at the Thames & Chiltern Valley Annual Competition

At the T&CVA 2020 Annual Wine Challenge which took place on September 13, 2020, Stanlake Park Wine Estate won a Silver medal with the Stanlake Brut English Sparkling Wine, and three Bronze Medals with the Bacchus 2018, The Reserve MV and the Rosé Superior Sparkling Wine – that was awarded with a Silver Medal at the IEWA the same week.

We are absolutely thrilled to win medals for our wines,” says Nico Centonze, winemaker of Stanlake Park. “The T&CVA results follows in the footsteps of our other recognitions achieved this year, particularly for wines that we have just released a few months ago, like the Silver for the Bacchus 2018 at the London Wine Competition or the great scores that Jancis Robinson gave to The Reserve MV.

About the T&CVA Annual Competition

The Thames and Chilterns Vineyards Association (T&CVA) was formed in 1988 to further the interests of the vineyards, grape growers and winemakers in the area. Today the Association has members residing in the counties of Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Dorset, Hampshire, Hertfordshire, Northamptonshire, Oxfordshire, Surrey and Greater London.

The T&CVA 2020 Annual Wine Challenge was held at Brightwell Vineyard, Wallingford, on Sunday 13 September, with 39 wines from 14 vineyards entered from the Region. The four judges led by Patricia Stefanowicz MW commented that the quality of the wines this year was exceptionally good.
