Wine Tours & Tastings
Friendly, informative and fun
We arrange private wine tours and tastings throughout the year, offering a unique behind-the-scenes view of our vineyard and winery.
Our tours are led by experienced WSET qualified guides; they’re very informative and fun, making it perfect for a group who is looking to learn about wine, but also to have a great time together.
During your tour, you’ll visit the vineyard before heading inside the winery to see the grape-pressing area, the fermentation tanks, the barrel room, the sparkling room and the bottling line. As they go around, guests will taste different wines (6 in total).
Private tours can also be offered in French, Italian or Spanish.
Wine & Theatre
A unique wine, dinner and show experience
We’ve teamed up with the prestigious theatre The Mill at Sonning to offer a full experience that your guests will love: a private Wine Tour & Tasting at the vineyard, followed by a delicious 2-course buffet dinner and a professional theatrical production in the charming The Mill, a historical building which houses a 19th century water-wheel which is still in motion!
Perfect for corporate and big groups. Follow the link below for more information.
Wine Bar Tastings
Bespoke seated tastings in our cosy Wine Bar
When a vineyard tour is not option, perhaps due to season or time of day, our Wine Bar Tastings can be the best choice for an entertaining, informative and fun experience.
Our qualified and experienced team can deliver a range of tastings of any of our 17 wines, but also of craft beer, local cider, gin, spirits and even non-alcoholic aperitifs. We would be happy to create your bespoke tasting adding any drinks or food element – we have many ideas and our imagination is at your service!
Contact email@example.com to create your unique tasting at the vineyard.
Wine Bar Private Hire
Unique spaces for your event
We offer exclusive use of our cosy Wine Bar, housed in a stunning Victorian Greenhouse, and recently-renovated Tasting Shed.
These lovely and full of character buildings have a capacity of 20-40 people. The outdoor area (front and back garden) can add another 100 seats, but please note that none of them are covered or heated.
We have several, flexible options for our event, which include a dry hire option with a minimum spend on drinks and/or food, or a venue hire-free alternative when pre-booking a certain number of our Food & Drinks packages. The packages include a choice of two drinks per person, and a buffet of delicious British Cheese & Charcuterie boards, alongside other snacks and nibbles, homemade scones and pastries to accompany your drinks. At the moment, we are unable to offer hot food.
All enquiries for private events must go through email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Follow the link below for more information, prices and pictures.
Wine & Pilates
An original event combining strength and fun!
Pair your favourite wine, a release of endorphins and happy feelings with some deep stretching, and you’ve got a recipe for an unforgettable time: this is Wine & Pilates, exclusively at Stanlake Park!
We’ve teamed up with expert Polly Hamilton, Pilates and body movement specialist, fo offer a very unique proposition: one hour of pilates while holding and coordinating moves with a glass of wine. And of course, sipping when it’s time to!
All levels are welcome. This is a perfect way to combine your team’s physical skills with a very entertaining activity which you cannot find anywhere else in the country! Can be combined with a tasting, food package or private venue hire. Contact us for more information.
Test your friends' wine knowledge!
Another very fun and engaging alternative for a staff day out or for family and friends, is our Wine Quiz.
This is a very lively and entertaining event to put the group’s general wine knowledge to the test. The quiz consists of rounds of questions about wine, geography, history and general knowledge somehow related with wine – they span from something like where does a particular grape variety grows, to what celebrity own a vineyard in certain region or in which country a certain wine producing area is located. Participants don’t need to be experts to win!
Add a drinks and food package for a complete evening! Please contact our team at email@example.com if you want to organise your own Wine Quiz.
Virtual Wine Tastings
The best option when distance gets in the middle
The most popular option during the pandemic, a Virtual Wine Tasting might still be very appealing to get together staff, friends or family living in very distant places.
Run in collaboration with expert Abbie Bennington from ABV Tastings, our online wine tastings follow the same friendly, fun and relax approach than our vineyard tastings.
We have a wide range of English wines for your tasting – from white, rosé and red to delicious bubbles. You can choose how many and which wines to include in your tasting, and we deliver everywhere in the UK.
We can offer a great deal of flexibility for a corporate or private tasting, including weekdays, weekends or evenings. The length of the activity can also be adapted to your needs. Please contact us to discuss your options at firstname.lastname@example.org
