Our tours are designed to be friendly, informal and fun! No prior knowledge is required as our experienced guide will lead you through the ups and downs of English wine-making, accompanied by some generous samples of our very best award-winning wines.
You'll visit some of our vines inside the walled garden (weather permitting) before being taken through the winery to see the wine-making process. You'll see the grape-pressing area, the fermentation tanks, the barrel room, the 'fizz' room and the bottling line. At each stop you'll be offered a different wine to taste and by the end of the tour you'll have tried eight wines (two sparkling, two roses, three whites and one red).
Please note as this is a working vineyard we cannot always guarantee access to all areas, however your guide will do their utmost to show you everything possible in the time available.
The tour will end in our Cellar Shop where you'll have an opportunity to buy any of our wines and a selection of gifts.
The tour will last for approximately 2 to 2.5 hours - you may wish to book a taxi home! If you're organising a lift or booking a cab, we would recommend you ask them to arrive at 16.45hrs, just so you're not rushed at the end of the tour.
Please see our Frequently Asked Questions for further details.
