Our English Sparkling Rosé wins a Silver Medal at IEWA 2020
Stanlake Park Sparkling Rosé awarded with a Silver Medal
At the 4th Edition of the Independent English Wine Awards which took place on September 06, 2020, Stanlake Park Wine Estate won a Silver medal with the Rosé Superior English Sparkling Wine.
“Lovely, creamy autolytic character on nose. Really inviting” and “Really fabulous nose” were some of the feedback from the experienced judges, which confirms the preference of consumers for this delicious and refreshing rosé fizz from Pinot Noir, that has been our very best-seller during this summer.

About the IEWA
The 2020 Independent English Wine Awards mark the fourth year for this rapidly growing event and delivers gold, silver and bronze medals after a blind wine tasting by a panel of experienced judges, including wine merchants, winemakers, sommeliers, wine writers, wine educators, Masters of Wine and expert consumers.
This experienced panel seem to be tougher than last year’s, as the IEWA’s medal frequency in 2020 came in at 75% compared with 2019, which is notably less than some other wine competitions. In fact, there were only 6 gold medals awarded to sparkling wines, with 15 golds in total.
At the previous edition of IEWA in 2019, we were awarded with 3 bronze medals for our Bacchus 2017, The Reserve 2014 and the Ascot Brut.
