Sparkling Wines of the World
Champagne, Prosecco, Cava, Crémant, English Sparkling Wine… we all know the names, but what actually makes them different – and which ones are really worth spending your money on?
Join our Director and wine expert Natalia for a very bubbly journey through some of the world’s best-known sparkling wines. We’ll taste them side by side, discover how and where they’re made, and learn what to look for when choosing your next bottle.
Throughout this relaxed and entertaining tasting, we’ll compare five different sparkling wines: Champagne, Prosecco, Cava, Crémant and – of course – English Sparkling Wine.
You’ll discover why some sparkling wines cost considerably more than others, what those mysterious words on the label actually mean, how different production methods affect what ends up in your glass, and some genuinely useful buying tips to help you get better fizz for your budget – perfect for the holiday season!
No complicated wine lectures and absolutely no wine snobbery – just plenty of bubbles, interesting comparisons and practical advice you can actually use next time you’re standing in front of a shelf wondering which bottle to choose!

Afterwards, why not stay a little longer and enjoy another glass or two in our cosy Wine Bar? We close at 8pm on Thursdays.
With plenty of bubbles included, we recommend arranging a taxi or travelling by train so you can fully relax and enjoy the experience. Twyford Station is within walking distance of the estate, with direct Elizabeth Line and National Rail services from London.

- The Wine Bar closes at 8pm, so please arrange your taxi or lift accordingly
- Stanlake Park Gift Cards can be used to book this experience. If your voucher is not recognised at checkout, please contact tours@stanlakepark.com and we’ll be happy to help
- Third-party vouchers cannot be redeemed against this event and upgrades are not available
- Due to space constraints, you may be asked to share your table with other guests – a great excuse to meet some fellow wine lovers!
- All attendees must be 18+ and no dogs are permitted at this event
- Please arrive 10-15 minutes before the tasting start time to check in
- We are unable to substitute the wines included in the tasting or provide non-alcoholic alternatives

Looking to use a voucher issued directly by Stanlake Park? Here’s how:

1) Check your voucher: Make sure your voucher applies to the tour you want. Most vouchers are valid for standard tours, but not for courses or special events.

2) Redeem at checkout: Purchase the number of tickets you need online. Enter your voucher code in the “Coupon” box at checkout (without hyphens or spaces) and the discount will be applied automatically.

* Extra tickets? If you need more tickets than your voucher covers, you can pay for the extras at checkout.

1) Book by email: Choose a date with enough availability for two guests on our Events Calendar.

2) Email tours@stanlakepark.com with:
– Your full name
– Voucher serial number
– PIN (only for Virgin Experience vouchers)
– Preferred tour date and time
– Contact phone number

3) Confirmation: You’ll receive an email confirmation within one business day.

* Limited to Wine Tour & Tasting: Third-party vouchers are valid for two guests on a Wine Tour & Tasting only. Upgrades to other experiences are not available, even with additional payment.
