Celebrate longer summer evenings with the new Garden Bar!

You know those summer Sundays where you’re not quite ready to say goodbye the weekend?

Maybe you’ve been out for a walk or spent the day in the garden. Maybe you’re trying to squeeze every last drop out of a rare sunny Berkshire weekend before Monday rolls around again.

Well, we’ve got some good news.

Now we’re into June, we’re keeping the Wine Bar open until 8pm on Sundays.

And while we’re at it, we’ve built a new bar in the garden too!

Wait… a beer bar?

Yep.

Look, we know not everyone comes to Stanlake Park just for the wine.

Some people start their day here with a coffee and a pastry. Some come for a cheese board with friends. Some love discovering English wine for the first time. And some people simply enjoy a good local beer.

Whatever your tastes, there’s something about a long, slow summer evening that makes a cold pint particularly hard to resist.

That’s why the new Garden Bar feels like such a natural fit.

Stanlake Park Wine Estate Garden

We’ve partnered with Double Barrelled Brewery to bring fresh draught beer to the vineyard, giving visitors even more choice when they visit. Whether you’re settling in with a glass of Bacchus, a bottle of sparkling wine, or a pint of Ding, the important thing is enjoying good company in a great setting.

After all, we’re more than just a winery. Stanlake Park is for the community, a place to showcase local Berkshire products and for people to come and spend time with friends.

Not many breweries can say their beer is served in a vineyard.

Summer is too short

Let’s be honest.

We get about three weeks of proper summer each year and spend half of it checking weather apps.

So when the sun does decide to show up, we’re making the most of it.

Longer evenings. Cold drinks. Sharing boards. Vineyard views.

Not a bad way to finish a weekend.

And if you’re not making the most of it, remember those promises you made to yourself during lockdown!

If you’re wondering whether it’s worth the trip, remember that we’re just a 15 minute walk from Twyford Station on the Elizabeth Line and National Rail. That means you can be sitting in a vineyard with a glass of wine or a pint of local craft beer in hand less than an hour after leaving central London.

Not bad for a Sunday evening, or indeed, any evening!

See you in the garden

So onto the details! We always recommend booking a table within the wine bar, but there’s no booking needed for drinks outside in the garden.

Just turn up, grab a seat, order whatever takes your fancy, and enjoy one of Berkshire’s most unique spots for a summer evening.

Wine, beer, coffee, sunshine.

We’ll take any combination of the above, even better when it’s after a fascinating and fun Wine Tour!

And if you want even more time on site? Check out our gorgeous North Lodge for 2, or our South Lodge for bigger groups.
